Boosting alts viable?

I'm levelling a new goblin warrior who is about level 37, im a little bored of levelling him so was wondering if anyone has recently boosted any alts and if it's still worth doing or not? I have a 80 dk or 80 rogue on the same server (2nd account) which i can use and should be able to handle most dungeons.

Or do you think it is quicker to quest and dungeon/bg?

You see, I don't get this. You are bored levelling. So you want to grab a higher level character and do the same thing anyway?

Imo it's now quicker to just level (Mostly quest), also more fun as it's mostly new content.

The reason i thought a high level character is easier, especially in instances like SM is you can pull the whole thing and clear it in ~5mins, with a random group you get all kinds of hold ups.

I have already levelled through the new content so have seen most of it with a different character. Thanks for your reply.

spec prot and do random dungeons whenever you are rested.
