Shadow Remains is on the Earthen Ring (RP) server, but don't let that fool you into thinking we are lightweight raiders. Since its conception back in vanilla WoW, the guild has dominated our server by accomplishing the lion's share of all realm successes and server firsts. Whether it be pre-nerf Kil'Jaeden, or heroic 25 man Lich King, or any other accomplishment, we have proven ourselves NOT to be just another guild on a backwoods server.

In fact, Earthen Ring is one of the largest population servers (RP, PVP, PVE) in Warcraft and enjoys a healthy economy, and active trade chat. (Although that may not be a selling point.)

  • And a bazillion achievements in each...

We are a guild that focuses not only on the first kills, but the continuing success and gear of all our raiders. While many guilds gave up raiding ICC 25 man months before the launch of Cata, we continued gearing our raiders and multiple alts until a week before launch.

What we are doing post-shattering:

Traditionally, we have been a 25 man raiding guild, with minor focus on 10 man content. With the new raid lockout rules and after crunching the numbers, we have decided to move to three 10 man groups to give us a better shot at continued domination of the server. Our groups are balanced, include at least 1 officer in each group, and share strategy and information with each other so we may all enjoy the success as a guild. This is not a competitive atmosphere - we are a guild who are determined to share as much of the glory between all of its members.

As of this posting (Jan 3) we have 9+/12 Cata bosses down.

What we need from YOU:

We have an opening for a HOLY priest, RESTO druid, or HOLY Paladin. This position is a full-time position. OF COURSE you have to prove yourself, as we are a raiding guild, after all. Be prepared to shine, especially if you are a server transfer!

We will consider other classes for fill-in positions within our three group system. Your past accomplishments will be what we look at when determining suitability for the guild, since gear is easy to obtain right now.

Our schedule (regardless of what is posted on the application) is Mon-Thurs 7PM-11PM EST and Sun 7-11PM EST. We require 90% or better attendance for this position. Our loot system for this 10 man group is /random. We are not greedy and expect to share between all raiders. We have no loot drama in our groups.
