I'm playing my Paladin tank as an alt, but I'd like to have him geared and ready to step into an early raid if need be.
Talio, Hellscream, US
Yes, at the moment he is using some DPS pieces as tanking pieces, there needs to be some reforging done still, and he's wearing some greens, so I know there are things to definitely improved. But here's my question ...
Two Trinkets -

vs
http://www.wowhead.com/item=52351 - Figurine - King of Boars
I know the obvious answer should be Impetuous Query for a pair of reasons ... One, the proc is Parry Rating, about 5% or so at 85. Two, the proc is on a 1minute cooldown which is very nice to have. Cannot be combined with my Figurine - Stone Guardian. Here's the wrinkle ... The King of Boars supplies slightly higher Mastery (About 33 or so), and has a Strength on-use. The Strength is 1425, so how useful is that for tanking? Yes it's designed for a Str based DPS class, but could it be useful for a tank? I'll be the first to admit I haven't done all my research into the Paladin Tanking field, but how much Parry would that added Strength grant, and would it be worth possibly using despite the cooldown for the trinket being 2mins versus 1min for Query?
Thanks
