What would happen if WoW was offline for a week?

When login servers go down, or when we can't log in the game after an expansion, or an extended maintainance... people (sometimes including me) seem to overreact.

I really wonder what would happen if Bliz decided to take WoW down for a week, globally that is. What are your thoughts?

I'd find something else to do for a week and Blizz would refund players their time. They'd probably lose some players to other games, unfortunately, which is why I doubt that they will ever have it down for that long.

If they didn't refund money for that said week, a lot of people would quit. I myself wouldn't, but I can see others quit. As for what I would be playing instead? Probably some older rpgs.

Morrowind. I have this ambitious plan to get 100 in all skills and attributes without cheating, and being the leader of as many factions as possible. On one character. And it WILL be done before Skyrim! ^^

Of course, Morrowind would have to wait until I'd finished reading and laughing at all the "THAT'S IT!! I'mma stop playing blizz noobz!!!1!" QQ-threads.

Had no internet for 2 weeks not long ago, and surprisingly I did not miss WoW. I can't remeber what I done in them 2 weeks. My mind seems to have pushed it to the back of my head and won't let me remember );

I would go find other ways of having fun like going out with my loved one, play other games, read, write, and possibly lose a bunch of time on my pen&paper RPGs XP. after I had wasted myself laughing about the QQ forums.

I honestly wish they would. It would give me some time to play all the games I got on Steam from their sales. Right now I'm just too busy trying to play 10 different games
