Hi there.

I am playing with the standard UI at the moment, and the only AddOn i am using are the regular ones you need for dungeons. Now i have decided that i would like a cool new looking UI. And i am open for every suggestion. So if some hunter out there could be so kind to post a screencap of their UI, with an AddOn list. As said, i am open for everything, just how me what you got !

A good, popular, clean UI for you to use is TukUI. It's one little download (two if you want to fiddle with options) rather than bothering with a whole mess of packaged addons that you need to switch to the proper profile and whatnot. It'll be great for a starter UI. You can find plenty of screenshots with a search for TukUI--it's VERY popular.

After trying several ui packages, a dozen self made UIs, I installed Kripp's ui for about a year ago and never looked back.

There is no ideal UI for any given class, because different players have different ideas on what they want displayed, and preferences in how that is displayed.
Some people prefer a load of bars, so NeedToKnow, ForteXorcist, ClassTimers suit them.
Some prefer icons, so PowerAuras, TellMeWhen etc are good options there.
Decide what you want to track, how you prefer to read that information and we can suggest addons which will make a UI which is yours, not what someone else thinks you need which will always be a compromise.

im trying to find a screenshot incombat, however as RL i have a dozen of addons you will not use unless you are RLing aswell (bb,phoenixstyle aso) however here is a screenie from our Al'AKir first kill

you might ask why i use skada and recount and i like to see both healing done and dps during a fight to check if something is not doing well.

Addons you might not see: msbt,powa,hunterfocusbar and if i find more, ill post them here.

Edit: Also, i use this UI on any of my classes hence the rather prominent grid for not only RL but also for my priest healing UI.

on my alt hunter to just get you an in combat screenie. The chat is on its right position for some odd reason, however, thats a minor issue.

Reason why I dont use TukUI is that the configuration takes quite some time and not everything is configurable in way I want it, i.e. as far as I know it wont let me use action bars in 3x4 format instead of row of 12 buttons. I really want to have my bars to be in 3x4 format because I use Razr Naga so I can cleanly see which mouse buttons correspond to which action bar buttons.

There are some parts that are not ideal, like DBM placement but that is just because I was using DXE before and it is not updated for Cataclysm yet. Perhaps also Buffs need to move more to the right edge.

Damage Meter: Recount (I like its reports / graphs better than Skada´s)

Boss Mod: DBM (until DXE gets updated)

Not visible:
eAlign: grid for aligning addons
ArkInventory: Bags
Auctionator: AH
RatingBuster: convert combat ratings into percentages on item tooltips
