    Northrend is killing me

    Hello there.
Im a vanilla and TBC player. Quit it before 3.0.9 came out and returned to WoW month ago.
Never seen Northrend and never been there.
Just hit my 70 and im in Northrend..and it feels depressive.

I leveled thru Outland by using Randon BGs and/or Dungoens. And it fast.

So Im asking for tips how and what to. Quests...excuse me, did few there in Borean and..shit.Gathering quests are dumb desgined- needed stuff is protected by hard hitting mobs which have no value- there are no quests for it. Endless kill quests with same kind of stuff- mobs come from all places of zone.

As far as I remember, I msotly dont, back then TBC was fun to me because it was new and fun.And to me it still is while Northrend is like a wall of height of Everest.
inb4 QQ and whatsoever is related to it.
Most people are under the belief that I think i am better than everyone else
    this is false
I know i am better than everyone else
So in end of day, most ppl not even good

Go over to Howling Fjord then. It's way easier. And it's less depressive looking then Borean Tundra.

yes northrend leveling was hooooooooooooooooooooooorible, most quest are kill this that many times and hope said item drops, but you need to fight through it! defeat thy foe to get to the nuggatie center that is cata leveling, chain quests, story, cut scenes, its a wet dream in leveling form, hell it can be a wet experience if you choose the right path

For alliance, I feel that BT is faster paced than HF. I feel it's the opposite for Horde. I could be making that up though.

Get yourself some wotlk greens. Mobs do not hit that hard. If it's really painful for you, you are doing something wrong. Figure out what it is.

Being able to fly in Northrend is a big help. Trust me, it would be worse without this.

Borean can be drab, boring. Try Howling Fjord? I leveled all my characters in Borean because it was the zone I tried in Wrath beta, so I was familiar with it and it made leveling faster... but it wasn't particularly enjoyable. I recently went through again on a brand new tauren paladin and... yeah, dull.

Outland, for me, was worse. It felt even more spread out and slow-moving than any zone in Wrath. You're lucky you blew through it by doing dungeons

I wish I could say it gets funnier but naaah. I just lvled my alt to 80 and Northrend was a pain in the ass.

WotLK lvling was one of the best questing experiences this game has ever had, the introduction of phasing is amazing, After I did the quests at Northrend, everytime I lvl an alt and I have to go through Outland it starts getting boring to me......

Ooo you're going to love Cataclysm then, where the VERY first mobs you have to kill in the new zones have at least 30k health, and hit for roughly 2k+.

Northrend is the only thing stopping me from leveling the 2 alts I want to get to 85. I've done it all 7 times, and realllllllly struggling to do it 2 more for my other non-80+ toons.

Most of my alts are lvled in BG's, especially on BG-weekends.

If you don't like Northrend leveling you're in for a doozy in Cata. Welcome to linear questing at its peak.
