Dude you don't want to date fellow wowers and you definitely don't want to be meeting people over a forum.
People are CREEPY, especially if you have boobs. They will do ANYTHING to see a picture of you, find out where you live, what your phone number is, etc, just so they can stalk you.
It sounds paranoid and weird, but it's true. Internet-people might not (always) be crazy axe murderers, but there are some seriously messed up people playing around on the Internet.

You've obviously never seen a girl at a gaming conference have you? Would you really want 100 dweebs drooling all over you just because you're a female among them? They mostly would want to stay anonymous since being a girl on and Internet game usually draws in LOTS of unwanted attention, even if some of that attention could be positive. All of the girls in my guild won't identify themselves as girls outside of guild groups simply because they get the random "OMG ur a girl? r u hot???" tell. Dodging that one is worth dodging the rare nice person you might meet.
