Hi MMO-Champ Readers!

I decided to put this up on the forum as we urgently need a Druid Tank/Prot Warrior + a Holy Paladin
Our current progression is 7/12.

As you can tell we only raid Mon/Wed but during that time we like to have 100% focus as we want to compete for Horde Top 5 throughout this expansion.

We have been building this group of 10 for a while now and completed HM content in Wrath with most of the players we have in the group.

About Us
As a guild, our key goal is to enjoy ourselves, we do like to mess around and talk rubbish too
but when it comes raiding together we work hard to make sure we get the job done.

We are friendly, polite, always willing to help other guild members if we are not doing something, and expect everyone in our guild to follow these points.
We, as a guild will work hard to better your gear through doing Raids, help us to help you, and we will most certainly help you to help the guild.

We do realize sometimes people join a guild with the thoughts of only getting better gear for themselves, we have no room for these type of players at all; we work hard to keep gear in the family to better the guild as a whole, not individuals. This is something that every raiding guild has to put up with and is 100% not preventable, but we will be keeping an eye on member’s attitudes to prevent this happening within <NwR> as much as possible.

Most of the time people feel a need to leave the guild because it does not suit them, we would like to just mention instead of just leaving the guild in a huff; talk to us first as most of the
time these matters can be addressed and fixed instead of losing the member from the guild and that person having to start at the bottom of another guild all over again. In short, if you are worried about something, tell us... it does make a difference.

10 man raid times: 20:30-24:00 (Server Time) Wednesday & Monday

About You
We are looking for core raiders; we are not looking for "bench" players. Ideally, we are recruiting an intelligent and analytical player whose purpose is to see end-game. A <NwR> member will show up to raids fully prepared by understanding his or her role and will give 100% effort at all times. This type of person understands that mistakes do happen however they are able to quickly fix their own mistakes and not repeat the mistakes of others. Additionally, a <NwR> member should be willing to put their guild before his or her own self-interests in hopes of bettering the guild. Outside of raids it is expected that this type of person will be generally friendly, social and will attempt to "fit in" with the general populace of the guild.

We expect a lot from potential applicants so you should be comfortable with:

• Learning from mistakes
• Not making the same mistake twice
• Analyzing your own ability in raids
• Taking criticism
• Discussing issues on Ventrilo to improve performance.
• Speaking on Ventrilo
• Speaking, understanding and writing English well

Required Software & Add-Ons
We use Ventrilo 3.0 for VOIP Communication. You need a working microphone and to have this configured correctly. You will find the server information in the Guild Information Tab in-game.

Raid Warnings Add-On, such as DBM or BigWigs.
Threat Meter, Omen or similar.
PallyPower (Paladins Only).
Decursive or Similar (Priest, Mage, Shaman, Druid, Paladin).

Raid Rules
The bare minimum we expect from every member, whether Officer or Trial is:

Sign up!
You will be invited to current raids in the in-game calendar by an officer or raid leader. You are required to accept/decline these 24 hours in advance. Note that events will be locked 24 hours before the raid so you cannot “ninja sign” etc.

Be Ontime!
We expect you outside the raid instance, waiting for an invite 15 minutes before the raid starts. This doesn’t mean you sat at the Auction House with your HS on Cooldown going “Summon Please”. You won’t be in our guild long if you do this.

Come Prepared!
This means 10+ Flasks, 20+ Potions, 50+ Food Buffs, having watched all the videos for the fights we are doing that night, read tactics etc. Do not expect Raid Leaders to carry you through a raid, It will be very obvious if you don’t know the tactics.

Be in Vent!
You should be in Raid 1 or Raid 2 channel in Ventrilo at time of invites; you can take this time to chat with other members etc whilst we are sorting groups.

Respect Raid Leaders/Officers!
This means that you are not chatting in vent whilst a strategy is being discussed, during a boss attempt or during loot.

Maximise your Gear/Performance!
This means you should be correctly gemmed, enchanted, and optimally speced/glyphed.

There will be breaks after certain bosses so you can go and get a drink etc.

You should make every effort to perform your role to the level your gear allows.

Removal from the Guild
Officers can and will remove you from the guild for any of the following reasons:

• Performing very badly in a raid because you cannot be bothered
• Consistently not showing up for a raid/being late
• Breaking any of the raid rules
• Creating drama in the guild
• Ventrilo abuse
• Generally slacking
• Not logging on for days without saying anything to anyone.
