    Graphics Card

    Hey all!

I know WoW does not necessarily need the best graphics card to run well. So what I ask you is how well I could run WoW on an Nvidia GT240 1GB with 4GB Corsair DDR3 RAM.

Thanks for any advice on this one guys

We can't give you exact details. But with what you have provided the game will run fine.

    Thanks for the reply!

I can give you more information about the system if you like?

Processor: Intel Dual Core E6600 3.06Ghz
    Motherboard: ASUS P5P43TD PRO

With RAM and supposed graphics card as above

If it will fine thats great, just wondering about if I can run WoW, not exactly on ultra settings, but near-ish to ultra?

Chances are that you'd be able to run at mid-high settings, with decent fps. Don't quote me on that though.

You would get around 20-25 fps in a 25 man raid situation at medium to high settings with multisampling down, at the best of times.

I had a gt240 (still have technically) and was getting that with a Athlon II x2 2.8ghz
    CPU: Intel I5-3570k 4.7ghz MB: Gigabyte Z77-D3H
    GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming Ram: G-Skill 8GB 1333
SSD: OCZ Vertex 3 120GB PSU: Corsair CX850M Case: Corsair 750D

It is impossible to give a framerate quote by only knowing the motherboard, CPU, and GPU. One of the settings with the biggest impact to framerate is resolution. Without knowing that, any framerate quote is just a number pulled out of an ass.
