First book is The Name of the Wind. Very good mid evil magic kinda book, I highly recommend it to any fantasy lover.

I cant WAIT for this book I burned through the first one about a year ago in a matter of days, and was then GUTTED to find out that the next one wasn't out, and had no planned release date :S now Im SUPER pyched to find out the next one is out soon, I just hope we don't have long to wait for the sequel :S
