Greetings, fellow wow'ers. Vex is currently the realms second best PvE guild, with the primary focus of killing every boss using a 25man raid set up! We do diverse into a single 10man optimal set up at the end of the week after raid time however should a boss have been very close to a kill or just to get some tactics down, and ready for the next week. We consider ourselves a relatively progressed guild after smacking Nerfarian 25 with the <Vex> bat, with what can only be described as a balanced set up, no class stacking. We do however find ourselves in a prediciment with several of our better raiders from WoTLK becoming either sloppy, unreliable, or even uninterested or with real life factors causing game play time problems.

Our focus and primary objective is simple, to kill all content while it is current, and with the help of some fresh blood in the guild we may even be striving for a realm first or 2 (or 12) however as realm second we need to kick our selves up a notch.

First off, what we are recruiting today as of 13/01/2011:

1 Paladin - Retribution
1 Priest - Shadow
1 Rogue - xyz spec
2-3 DPS Druids - we currently would love to find a talented boomkin or feral druid and could probably fit any combination of 2-3 in to our trial spots right now.

***Exceptional players will always be considered so if you are an experinced player looking for a raid guild, then feel free to drop an application. Its just that the list of "we are looking for" is more specific as to open spots right now.

What do we want? Well several things although it's a good time to say if you dont have full BiS enchants and gems even on 333gear, you are wasting you're time. We would advise you to have a fully geared, gemmed and enchanted offspec set as well, and due to the classes we are recruiting a healing or tank offspec would be very helpful however that can be discussed on the forums via your application.

What we're looking for in potential recruits:

* Brains: Knowledge of your class and theorycrafting should be done before applying. If you have the wrong gemming or professions not maxed enough to benefit from, don't waste yours and our time applying. You must be dedicated enough to have all this prior to thinking about joining us.

* Activity: You must be able to meet almost 100% raid attendance, if you slip this by more than 10% you'll be removed from the guild. We're not recruiting people to bench so if your spot is open alot, we'll recruit someone to take your spot.

* Hardware/Software: You need to be able to access mumble with a working microphone which you can use. Cereal box computer's and dodgy internet connections are not welcome here either, the odd D/C we do not mind but regular D/C's and high latency we're not looking for neither is low fps. (Don't bother applying if you cannot meet these standards)

* Raid Experience: We expect people to be reading up on everything and watching as many guides/movies as possible regarding encounters. If you're a slow learner, this guild IS NOT for you.

* Critisim: If you cannot handle been told you're doing something really badly or incorrectly, this guild is not for you. We make a mistake and learn from it. Constant errors are looked down upon heavily.

We also take the time to socialise, get some heroics or rep grinds going, as well as messing around via other games too such as Star Craft II and Warcraft III, and many more. If you apply you can expect at least to have you're application viewed, talked about and aknowledged within 24-48 hours, although replies can take a little longer

You must include in the application you're *Armory link, *UI screen shot in and out of raid (At least in raid), *Experience such as pre 3.0 Sunwell, and the knowledge of the class you play. We seek top players to be a top guild.

Remember, when you transfer you're character there is a gold cap so make sure to stock up on the best foods, raid mats and potions or flasks before you transfer, see you on the forums.
