Average cost of LW 1-525

Does anyone know the average cost of LW 1-525 and if it's worth dropping engineering for? As a hunter the bracer enchant is clearly better for me, and I could see myself making alot of gold with the chaos orbs. Enginerering doesn't bring me much DPS wise and i'm replacing my helmet with the vicious one.

It's WELL worth the drop, I was in the same boat. And, if you farm the leather, it's about 10-20k, if you farm the mats, it's nothing to get to 500.

i was to lazy to spend time farming all the savage leather and volatile .. so i spend 12k for mats from 475 to 525

it can cost up to 30k if you buy 1-525

I spent well over 20k possibly even 30k to powerlevel it from 1-525 over about a week ( due to lack of funds and avaiability of mats on AH ) but I've made prolly that and more back since then. So it's all good.
