Yep. I don't raid either, but I don't hate on those who do. They get their fun running that raid dungeon. I get my fun fishing, drinking, and questing for funny (but useless) in-game gear. To each his own.

To be honest most raids are not done in 1 or 2 hours that is true but most people put in and hour or two a few nights a week and work at it every week. Its called progression. So how about you think about things before you go making unnecessary threads just because you don't raid for because of some misconstrued idea of how it actually works.

None of the current raids are as long as ICC.

I don't raid either. I'm not even geared for heroics, why? Because dungeons are boring as fuck. PvP is boring as fuck not to mention broken as hell. What else is there do to? Archaeology, what's the point? Maybe but probably not get a Scarab mount? Do Dailies for gold that I do not need?

This is why Blizzard designed raids like Baradin Hold, Wintergrasp, Obsidium Sanctum, and (for those skilled in not-standing-in-fire) Ruby Sanctum. They're short. When OS was new it took an hour, tops.

I wonder how long you've spent complaining about how Raiding content is a waste of time. I wonder how many hours you've blown in Trade trolling dedicated players because they don't have the attention span of a ferret. I wonder how many raids you've actually done, how many successful raids you've done, how many successful raids you've done with friends or friendly/helpful guildies all working towards one goal, anticipating the death of a boss and rejoicing when you overcome the challenge.

I think this response is a waste of time too. It's just going to give you an excuse to come back and complain some more.

-Standing in SW/Org chatting?
-Farming?
-Questing?
-PvPing?
-Instances (non-raid)?

Answer: Time spent versus in-game reward. The fun factor is entirely subjective.

Nobody is forcing you to raid. You don't have to if you don't want to. Go do something that you find fun.

When my guild had ICC on farm we did 11/12 25HC in about 90 minutes. LK25HC wasn't as oneshot-able though. I have heard that Paragon used to do 12/12 25HC and RS25HC in a total of 2h every wednesday, but I doubt that's possible.

But yes, it took much longer than that to progress.
