I've got all my honor gear, none of it from win traded TB games, and nothing to spend my 4k honor on. To be honest, I dislike not having any honor items left to farm for.

Since you obviously don't feel the same way, why not get the crafted PvP gear instead? Your honor gear will be eventually be replaced by conquest gear anyway - unless that's too much effort as well.

Step by Step.

Get a DK. PVP gear not Required
Equip any sort of Gear.
Join Arena Queue for 2v2.
Continue to faceroll with your set-up till you Win 5Matches.( toke me and the DK 5Matches to get 5Wins btw)
You are now Conquest Capped, Save for Mace or Get some Conquest gear till Reset.
Now start Farming Honor.

i hate doing BGs, and yes with TB i dont work for my gear, careface? for me the point is to get enough of the blue pvp gear so i can play arenas, and if you dont like BGs, the honor farm is slow and painful

They should decrease the honor cost of bloodthirsty items. The alrdy 85 players just took thousands of honors from tol'barad and got full bloodthirsty in 2 days. After that it changed, giving only 360 honor, rather than 1800. The fresh 85s now, can't do anything against the full bloodthirsties, that got their gear with 6-7 tol'barad wins.

So, i just leveled up my pala after my warrior to arena as holy, when i farmed gear for my warr i basicly could get the job done with 1.8K honor TB wins, but now when TB is nerfed i have to get ALL the gear from BGs ( i m ally btw ) and the honor you get for a BG even if you win comapred to what items cost IS A JOKE, i mean seriously, main parts cost 2.2K and 1.6K off-parts also cost 1.6K and some cost 1.2K, in random BG IF you win you get like 120-130 honor? they should really incrase the honor gained in BGs, or what do you guys think?

Not sure exaclty how much honor is being awarded atm per bg wins but if they are going to make the pvp currency system comparable to the pve system they should at least make the BG's reward a comparable amount of currency (honor) to the 5 mans and there JP's imo.

ok, just to put it out there, the horde que time for bgs can go up to 35 mins
now that being said, why dont you want to work for your gear? this isnt age of conan where they will give you free things to play their mmo, you actually have to put very mininmal effort to get your gear, and if you think this was bad, think how it was grinding 75 THOUSAND HONOR in wotlk, just be glad you only need to grind 4k to hit the cap, which is not hard with a good grind session

I don't PvP, but I know it takes an hour to two for a 5man, in which time you can get at most 420 JP or 350 JP and 70 VP. So call it ~300 JP per hour. Can you get the equivalent amount of honor in an hour?

OT, I agree they should increase the honor gained a bit. Not asking for it to be doubled, tripled or anything, just an increase. I lost 4 bgs last night and went from ~300 to roughly ~550.

I think the rate of gear would be perfect if you won every bg, but when you are on a BG that loses nearly everything, its extremely slow and frustrating.

Im all for putting in effort to get gear, but i dont think effort should equal mind numbing grinding.

sounds like somebody still stuck in the wrath mindset of wanting instant gratification. especially after admitting abusing tol barad to buy up gear with a previous character, which blizzard admitted was a bad idea on their part. and also this person complains about how they hate doing bg's to get their gear. well, a lot of pve people hate doing random dungeons due to having a 30+ minute wait time (as dps), only to get into a fail group that breaks up and they get stuck in queue for another 30+ minutes. either suck it up, or go back to playing your warrior you geared up by abusing the system

and gear drops that go with it. PvP doesnt have drops.

I know you're being sarcastic, but sometimes I feel that pvp gear should be equalized so its more about skill than pure gear superiority. PvE gear progression is fine.

And if you did that everyone that even slightly enjoys PvP would complain because there is no PvP progression.
