Ok, i guess doing one of these ratings stuff could be a good way to learn my self.

Gems, enchants and reforge all good good except for weapon enchant, but unless you are having mana problems it should be all good, Yellow gem in the VP ring, I would assume that a pure int gem would be better due to the socket bonus.
You only have one beniftial proffesion.
Switch out Holy shock glyph for Divine Favor if you are in a 10m guild and WoG for Divine Favor if you are in a 25m guild.

The one thing that worries me about haste stacking is in order to obtain 5th tick on HR you need 3400+ rating raid buffed,JoP,SoL included. I dont think it's possible to reach it so i switch to mastery and im very pleased from my healing so far. So the main issue is if my mastery stacking will hurt our future progress or both "specs" are equally viable.

As for the heartsong>power torrent enchant, i usually put heartsong on my weapons but i decided to experiment with power torrent a little and see what i can get. Probably i will switch to heartsong.

Now about your question regarding trinkets i think that (H)Jaws is far better than FoM...hopefully you can do a quick FL run and grab it if it drops...never seen it on our runs though..

Not sure if anyone has some suggestions. Just picked up this spec last week and been trying to get the hang of it (picked up pretty quickly since I've played all the heal classes). Some background info I'm in a really casual 10 man guild and working on Warmaster atm, but do to different things going on we've been wiping on silly stuff. The other healer I heal with is a resto druid (now, use to be a resto shaman). Something to note on my gear, I have the token for the T13 397 gloves, but haven't gotten them because of T12 2pc bonus. Does anyone have any idea if 2pc T12 (Helm/Legs) and 2pc T13 (Shoulders/Chest) would be beneficial or too much of a stat loss?

I chose not to go with the Word of Glory glyph because I rarely use it in our group and use Light of Dawn more often. The gems in my chest I was toying around with this week and haven't decided to go back to full int or not. Trinkets I don't have much in terms of choices, but what I do have access to atm is Fiery Quin from Avengers, Core of Ripeness, Foul of Demon Lord (from WoE) and my currently equipped. Not 100% sure which ones would give best stats for raiding and such.

Only other question I have is for the more experienced paladins which do you prefer in 10 man when you heal the raid mostly, and tank through beacon as well as healing the tank up when they dip really low. Do you go for crit or mastery? Why? Does anyone have a haste % they aim for and feel anything more is too much for a 10 man guild who is still working on normals?

Thanks to anyone who can provide some help and I apologize if something is horribly wrong. As I said, picked it up last week to feel our healing void and tried to do a lot of research.

Basically i am looking for any advice and suggestions on how my paladin can perform better in 10 mans, i am currently 5/8 normal DS and i would appreciate any advice on what i would need to change to perform better in 10 man raids.

Couple of notes... Try to get the tier chest instead of hands. Hands from spine is commonly said to be the best offpiece.. Then dunno about that spirit trinket either unless you have some serious mana issues but with normal modes that is mostly other healers slacking or dps taking unnessary dmg. +50 int enchant to bracers, Lavawalker to boots (ok you have speed from divine protection but still all speed helps. I would take off 1 point out of Protector of innocent and put it on blessed life. Glyphs: glyph of cleansing is pretty useless, I would use divine protection, Then i would change holy shock glyph to divine favor. Other then that seems ok holydin

I dinged 85 on this 2 days ago and have done what i can.

Im missing some enchants on gear that ill be upgrading asap and i am deciding between heartsong and power torrent for my main heand (any help will be appreciated)

Ive done no reforging yet, mainly wondering about spec etc and if anyone has any gear recommendations (plan on buying soul redeemer bracers as soon as my gold permits).

Can't judge what your gear will be like until I see that you actually enchant and get new gear like you said you would, but I will say what you have for now.

IMO for when you do reforge it should generally be spirit>haste>mastery/crit. As for your spec is looks fine to me, but perhaps if you decide to raid DS you should put a Divine protection glyph in. The reduc is amazing for most fights with lots of aoe that DS is designed around. Also a comment on your meta. I think you should switch to burning shadowspirit diamond. You should not have very much mana problems at this time with the gear you will potentially have. Your shoes enchant are okay I suppose, but I simply value having haste more than mastery/mspd. As for your main hand enchant, I personally use Power Torrent. However if you have mana issues then I would recommend Heartsong as the uptime is much better. Try to get get the 2 set from LFR or raiding. The 25% reduction in mana cost is extremely useful in situations where you need to do a lot of healing.

One other thing, and this is probably because I'm over thinking it but the points in Blessed Life. Because when I read "whenever you take direct damage." you have to be targeted right? So (and this is where I don't understand) you have to be targeted and not be hit with aoe damage right? IDK I've never played with the talent and just thought it was a pvp one but if it works on aoe damage I might have to think about picking it up.

Here's mine. I think I'm doing the right things but sometimes I feel like my heals are lacking on some boss fights 10m. I heal with a Resto Shammy and Disc Priest if that makes any difference. I am also wondering about the meta gem. Whether +3% increased crit is better or +2% mana? Or will I just have to play with both and see if I need the extra mana?

While it's not something that you can fix quickly, acquiring the tier helm and replacing your tier gloves with the Gauntlets of the Golden Thorn would allow you to reach the 17% "haste breakpoint" where you can then begin reforging for mastery or crit. The ultraxion belt and the yor'sahj bracers would also greatly aid in attain this breakpoint, but, again, this is simply a matter of having the right loot drop, not anything you're doing wrong.

I seems like you recently killed deathwing and will begin working on hardmodes. I would suggest slightly changing your spec. Take one point out of enlightened judgments (I feel that two points is a waste because it puts you well over hit cap) and put it in blessed life (it procs off of AoE on every fight in DS). Take one point out protector of the innocent OR enlightened judgments and put if in Last word so you have the 60% crit chance for WoG (This is more of a personal choice).

Sorry this isnt a rate since i was already rated this is a reply to the above, but blessed life works with AoE's too. also if you hand of sac someone you also get HoPo from them since you also take damage from it Lol Pretty useful imo

There has been a lot of discussion before the patch and the general view on those enchants was that they are pretty close. (HS giving slightly more mana, PT giving less mana but some bursty and random hps bonus).
Patch 4.3. improved the mana regen from spirit by 60% => as long as you need the mana Heartsong is most likely better.

Your gear seems fine. Just try getting your T13 head and Spine gloves instead.
However, I noticed you lack Sacred Cleansing to dispel magic debuffs. You might not have learnt it because you aren't on dispel duty but it is essential in case of other healers dying or disconnecting during fights. I'd recommend taking 1 point out of PotI or Blessed Life to spec into SC.
