    cataclysm leveling question

I've got a hunter sitting at level 78. Should I push out the two more levels in Northrend or should I head for one of the new zones? or do you think the new zones would be too hard?

i think you need to be level 80 to get the quests for those zones anyways

This. The only thing you can do in cata areas until 80 is grind.

Some quests are level 78. wowhead.com/zone=616#quests:0+3+1+2
The difference between the mobs is huge though, so I reccomend doing the last two levels in Nortrend before throwing yourself into the Cata zones.

Yup, but they require some pre-quests that require level 80 :P

I think you're better of leveling to 80 in Northrend. It goes pretty fast with the 20% less xp required for those levels tho.

You not read that patch notes b4?? you get an extra 10% exp for killing mobs in the intended zones of leveling...

    i.e 1 - 60 u get 10% extra exp from mobs in azeroth..
    60 - 70 u get 10% extra exp from mobs in outlands
70 - 80.. same as above but northrend mobs..

so basically wen people used to go to outlands at 58 and northrend at 68..

theyve made this 10% extra exp from so it intends people to stay in the zones of the level range they are ment for..
