Which basically allows any kind of perverted maniacs be paladins. Who cares if he rapes children, if he still believes it's his sacred duty and it's the right thing to do... Also, BE just manipulated the Light at the dawn of their paladinhood, just like any other kind of magical power.

If you believe, it will come, or if you go about mindlessly killing it will go
The undead that truely believe and want to spend eternity devoted to the light are granted its blessings, but if the undead truely believs that he is forsaken, well.. His healing days are over
Like the pally ghosts in nr are undead but not evil, just confused
What haven said makes sence but arthas himself believed in what he was doing was wrong and in his book, he slowly lost the light, each time he had to force it to come back to him, and eventualy he gave up on it

    1. Firstly the nature of a Paladin. A Paladin is the embodiement of light, he constantly channels the light throughout his very being (see: auras). If the momentary casting of spells causes immense pain to Undead priests, imagine the sheer amount of pain would be caused by constantly channeling the Holy Light through your body at all times. I like to go with having your skin flayed, your musculature then dipped in acid, then thrown onto the sun.

    2. To have Paladin as a playable class requires a Paladin Order. Every race that can be Paladin has some sort of Paladin Order which instructs the new members in the ways of Paladin and their philosophy of the Light. (Even the Tauren fall into this, even though they don't think their Light is THE Light it still is due to magicalness) A Paladin Order needs a substantial number of members, or else it really isn't much of an Order. (I want to say even the Blood Knights have at least 25 named NPCs in the game) Because of point 1, how many Forsaken do you think are really willing to be Paladins, either to form or join the Order if it were to be created, probably VERY VERY few, not many willing to do it-->No Order established -->Nobody to train said Paladins -->No playable Paladins
This is pretty spot on. Just an example I wanted to bring up to was that just because someone feels they have been abandoned doesn't mean they forgo what they felt abandoned by. Some generic examples would be a patriotic person who felt betrayed by his country, but still acted with the intentions of bettering said country (COD:Black Ops in Viktor Reznov would be a good example, Mother Theresa worked for the church for ages and ages, and shortly before she passed mentioned in passing how she sometimes felt like she was distant with God or overlooked by God).

So just because the forsaken feel abandoned by the light doesn't necessarily mean they stop having any faith in the powers of the light.

In game term, all priests that heal are holy/disc priest, and priests that cause harm to other are spriest.

In lore term, healy priest of Darnassus, the priestess of Elune draw their healing power from their goddess, theres no such thing as "the Light" that NE knows of. They has no spriest. Dwarf/human priest borrow their power from "the Light" , dont know if they have spri. Draenei shouldnt has any spri. Forsaken priest are all spriest, they doesnt have access to the Light anymore. They CANT use the light save for exceptional individual.

Similarly, each race has their own paladin interpretation, same in game but quite different in lore. I might guess most Blood Elf Bloodknight were Retribution (they thought they stole it from floating flat shining lamps called Na'ru), Draenei are prot/holy etc.

There is no dark paladin, so Forsaken isnt allowed to be paladin. Even if an undead wants to be a retri pal, he still requires access to Light/divine power.

There was a blue post saying how the Light interact with rotten flesh raised by necro magic (healing an undead tank!), AFAIK it wasnt related to if there was any forsaken holy priest.
