It had observatories, living chess boards, enormous libraries, a theater, dining halls, kitchens, etc. Gruul's Lair was exactly what it said it was, a lair where a big dude hung out with his minions. TK was a complex dedicate to the vanity of Kael'thas. Black Temple was simply epic in design. All in all they do a phenomenal job of capturing the theme of a raid in its design.
You're absolutely right. BT was just so deep, it really was a fortress fit for a corrupted demon. ICC I'd say captured the lore behind it well. However lore seemed more rich back in BC, so there was more visual depth put into the stories, meaning the raids had to compare.

Been there since BC. Was supposed to be a landing area with an alternate entrance but it was removed.

could see it in the final legion expansion as kara fits well with demons and has alot of Sargeras history in it.

No thanks. Kara was fun and interesting for first 10 runs. Not for next 2 years.

    No more remakes please

However lore seemed more rich back in BC
Because of nostalgia, it was actually far less rich than what we have now.

Nostalgia in general is the number one killer of progress in the entertainment industry. =/ Remakes and throwbacks are so ridiculously out of hand because of the amount of 90s latchkey kids.

yes they do, they just won't admit it

and no don't bring kara back, it's time blizzard stopped relying on past references in old versions of the game and actually made something to look forward to, not look back on.
I'm glad to have multiple personalities, if i didn't i would be talking to myself, and that's just insane.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kara brought back as long as it wasn't main raiding content. Make it sort of a side raid, gear on the level of heroics say.

No, bringing Ony back was terrible and only ruined the memory of doing Ony at 60, or ruined the ability to make some quick cash at level 70-80.

Kara is perfect. The best raid in the game, with Ulduar a respectable 2nd. I don't want it to be tarnished like Ony was.

A stupid raid, yes. But not a stupid first wing to the amazing new "lower karazhan" raid. If you haven't fully explored the cyrps first hand, you don't really get how cool it is.
I completely agree. Naxx was disgusting... Kara would be and is perfect the way it is Even after the 50 times i did run it in TBC. I would love the challenge of the Curator or Opera event again lol

Kara was, in my opinion, the most well thought out and balanced raid blizzard. Content, lore, progress and tactics wise it was great.

Optional boss (urn), theme boss (theatre), double tanking, single tanking, cc bosses (mongoose dropper), raid concentration (god damn you aran!), and my favourite netherspite. Watch the DPS die as they hog the blue.

    Great great place.

But do you really want Blizzard to re-release Kara? I loved Kara and all of BC, but I wouldn't want to see it brought back just because it'll ruin it and would seem like a 'waste' of a raid, when I can still pretty much remember every Kara boss tactic/strategy, if they're not going to have new mechanics etc implemented.

    No.

The atmosphere and the design of Karazhan are PLAIN, they look all the same, every single boss.

I would assume they would have a story of new found power etc etc, perhaps a lead into an expansion for the zone? As long as I could cash in my rep grind ring yeah?

People felt the same way in BC. That's why it was only T4, If you really wanted gear you'd be running TK and such. I think it was more as something to do during lockouts of other raids. They should make it for players who want to have an overall fun time doing a laid back raid.

lolwut. Curator and crasy imp demon man are so different. And different tactics. And abilities. And netherspite is a totally different mechanic. As is aran. Name the bosse that look the 'same'.

I disagree somewhat, I felt TBC changed the way guilds worked in general, and kara was a proving ground for the idea of doing things as a group. TK was way too far ahead for Kara starting. Kara was a gentle 'look how cool and fun this is' Then the King of Gruul went KAPOW 'what do you mean your mage doesnt have res gear'.

Awesome idea! 5man and maybe a 10man setting? And nothing insanely rewarding, no tier but maybe some sweet epics/ heroic blues on 5 man

How are those nostalgic rose tinted glasses working out for you? Illidan having more/deeper lore then Arthas? Illidan was part of Warcraft 3 sure, but Arthas was the whole game + an expansion.

Yeah, illidan was actually pretty crap to me. However SCC was insanely brilliant.
