Final scene of the latest ep, what can it mean? Me thinks dexter is about to go medieval.

Whereas in the Gellar idea... not only would Colin have to be completely schizoid, but Gellar actually makes physical actions that would require a heavy separation from reality to not distinguish. (ie... driving the car while you believe you arent even IN the car)

I wouldn't be completely surprised by this turn, but it would be a little unusual for a Dexter villain to have "oh, he's just CRAZY" as an excuse for the homicidal tendencies. Granted, most/all of the dexter killers have been seriously crazy, but most of them were reasonably aware of Reality.
So, they could just pull a Fight Club instead of a Dexter/Dad.

Yeah, I literally said "Oh no." when I saw that.

Hopefully Colin & Dexter can redeem each other. (a reprise of last season would be nice, with Colin breaking free from his dark passenger, but Dexter resigned to his fate)

Its seeming more & more that the Fight Club excuse is valid... although we're going to need some backstory from 3 years ago to explain why.

Amazing episode. As Dexter wanders further from the light/right, bam! i thought it was a brilliant twist, that ive been wondering if they would do ever since s2. I love the little smirk on the face of Dex at the end too, him and you know who are gonna have some fun.

I'm not so sure. I think he has too much invested now with his son to go too nuts.

Like Dexter hasn't put his family to the side in order to 'pursue his interests'? (Trinity). Dexter has hottie latina babysitter and his sister to watch Harrison for a few hours while he and 'the family' go out and execute some criminals.

Great ending with the last episode indeed. Harry got replaced by Brian, snap.
What do rogues and noobs have in common?

    ya this is crazy!!!

seems like next episode the "brian" part of dexter is going to go wild and eventually there will be some kind of power struggle.

also i wonder if that kid is like following in his fathers footsteps or something, which is strange because it seemed like he hated is father why would he repeat what he did.\

i also have a question for the mods

im watching all of dexter on a website that provides links to where u can find each episode, am i able to post it here or no?

I'm no mod, but i would imagine it would be a 'no', unless the site/links are specifically posted by Showtime.

Yeah, warez/piracy talk/links is a no-no. www.google.com finds just about anything on the internet (just make sure your computer wears protection).

But back to Dexter... The pitchfork scene was pretty well done, but a little too Fight Club for my tastes... at least he ditched his DARK passenger, and got a conscience instead. Would be interesting to see if Sam pops up as a conscience. (queue Quantum Leap intro)

Oh, and anyone else laugh at Dexter's, "I got what I wanted." ?

As far as bottle episodes go, it was pretty intense. One of my favourite episodes this season.

I really like where this season has gone. Saw plenty of dark Dexter. My favorite was him banging the gas station chick and then firing off those rounds at signs. Such a departure for him in general. He has been getting kind of sloppy.

DDK needs a little more. It was looking so promising. I am sure they have something big planned for Dr. Doom. Little Hanks' sister is prime candidate.

Professor Porter adamantly denies Gellar could have any involvement with the murders, so how can she be so sure?

    Because he's dead.
This. It's either obvious, or they're trying to make you think it. No one's every spoken directly to him. But, if you noticed, "Brian" attacked the motel guy in the most recent episode. So if Brian-as-Dexter can interact with the world, Travis could very well be alone.

The thing that makes me think it's a red herring is that it's still going on. Everyone I know that watches it has "figured it out" or know about the theory at this point. Don't know who would be shocked.

Also the not-whore of Babylon said that one of them held her head and the other talked, so it could still be the same person.

Remember that time Geller had a female student that Quinn banged? The fight club scenario can be dropped now.

Why? Travis killed Gellar after that. Travis went wacko and killed the professor, hence him being disappeared (ok, having disappeared) for three years or whatever they said. I don't think anyone's saying it's EXACTLY like Fight Club in that he never existed - Harry existed too once.

    Alfred Hitchcock anyone ?

I feel the overriding theme of this season is how we shine our light (or darkness) through all the people we touch in our lives.

Unless Gellar's alive, and then I don't know wtf to say.
