Virtus is a raiding guild on Mal’ganis-US. We’re currently looking to recruit for our 10 man core first, a 2nd 10 man, then future 25 man raids.

A bit about Virtus: Virtus was formed from a group of close friends wanting to raid together. Mostly we’ve been grouping together over time in various guilds and thus we formed Virtus in order to get a raiding atmosphere we could enjoy. Our guild focus is progression.

Virtus is not a casual raiding atmosphere. If you don’t know about your class or spec or being versatile with many different specs of your class then this guild is probably not for you. If you’re not able to commit to being there and ready for the full duration of the raid then this guild is not for you. We approach the guild in the same way we approach our real life commitments which is we hate down time. When you raid, you should be expected to be ready, flasked, food buff and attention for the next three hours on raiding.

Emergencies happen once in a blue moon but don’t expect to go get a coffee or cook dinner while we’re raiding.

Virtus is a mature guild and as such we request that all members have thick skin and are mature. We only wish to have members who are 18+ apply to the guild. The core of the guild is currently working professionals and college students and we’re looking for members who can mesh well with our current members.

Our attendance policy is simple. We expect all guild members to have a 90% attendance for 10/25 man raids. Raiders should expect even if they’re online to be willing and able to subbed out for other players for progression. Our current loot system is an open bid dkp system. Vanity Items and Legendaries are at my discretion as GM since these are guild achievements and not anybody’s personal dkp achievement. Per tier of content DKP will be wiped clean.

• Anything below 90% doesn’t mean you won’t raid but means that raiders will get first priority on gear. You will still accumulate DKP.
• If you aren’t in the raid, you will be awarded DKP for time spent ready and able online. You must be available at the drop of a dime to be able to sub in.

Performance
We expect all members to give 100% of their attention to the content and game while we’re raiding.
We expect all members to be highly competitive on meters.
We expect all members to be acutely aware of their survivability as well as others in the raid.
Lastly we expect all members to be able to play their class fully and in many different roles.
Finally Vent, and a working Mic are mandatory.


Desired Classes:
Tanks that can make the commitment to Tanking and to the guild.
Death Knight, Druid, Warrior and Paladins are all acceptable forms of tanks.
