Cairnes corpse in Tauren District?

Theres a skeleton with a spear that is spiked sitting on an altar in orgg tauren district near entrance to drag. Oddly have not seen anyone post about it

I'm sure Cairne would've been buried or cremated or whatever it is tauren do to their dead. I really doubt they'd just allow his skeleton to be put on display in Orgrimmar (even in the Valley of Wisdom).

Next time I'm in Orgrimmar I'll have to go look for it though.

Strange. I doubt such an innocuous display could be Cairne's funeral pyre, but it certainly looks like a funeral pyre.

So who's corpse is on this altar witha spear next to it? I did notice there was what looked like ashes on it but meh

It's actually still hot...there are smoldering embers and smoke rising from the altar.

But it's definitely not a tauren corpse. The skull is wrong.

Corpse looks burnt. It's probably him.

If I remember the Shattering correctly, Cairne's pyre was in Mulgore.

Cairne's pyre was definitely in Mulgore, the skeleton is wrong for a tauren, and Cairne's runespear was shattered into pieces while that one is intact. I highly, highly doubt it's him.
