A 650W will probably be fine but i would personally upgrade to a 1000W just for the purpose of security and reuse for future upgrades.

as far as the Cooler goes id go for a Zalman (ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling Fan/Heatsink) just for the fact they are extremely well built and effective.

Also 64 bit is much better than the 32 bit. Upgraded my computer and OS a few weeks ago. Very noticeable difference.

Also if you want a better Hard drive "Western Digital Caviar Black WD5001AALS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive" is a nice choice.

and yes everything you have there is compatible. Just dont forget your heat sink.

650W is fine for your build. I'd say maybe 10% of normal people re-use power supplies because we only get new computers every 3-4 years, so I wouldn't worry about purchasing one to last more than 1 build.

the 470 is good, but consider getting one of the new cards, 6870, 6950, 6970, gtx570 or the soon-to-be-released gtx 560

windows 7 64bit is a must, 32bit is trash now

If you don't plan on overclocking above 4 GHz you don't need a special cpu cooler, the stock cooler will do fine.

If you're putting 4GB RAM in the computer, you'll need a 64-bit operating system anyway, otherwise you'll only be able to use 3-3.5GB of that memory depending on the OS. Besides larger memory address space, there's really not a whole lot of functional difference between 64- and 32-bit Windows 7.

    Otherwise, good build.

For that matter, my i5-2500K is doing 4.3GHz on the stock cooler and not having any trouble at all. Gonna try pushing it farther this weekend, it was really "lets see if it'll do it... *changes multi* ... looks good, ok, lets play some WoW". Not exactly a serious overclocking push.
