Blacksmithing Shield and New sockets next patch

ok i have a question with the new patch and it saying they will be adding sockets to armor that didnt previously have one on them...so does anyone know if http://www.wowhead.com/item=55069#comments will happen to get a socket ?

it will just add a new socket, so in other words your current sockets are perfectly safe

No they wont add one to the shield, they are just adding sockets to the armor pieces so their itemization stays the same compared to raid drops. No shield with sockets drop in tier 11.

Funny that it took them a whole patch to add sockets to the epic armor, i wonder how long it will take for warriors to get a dps or tank gun.

Only available via raiding. For people who don't raid, the only gun close to being itemised before raiding is the Abatement cannon, a level 81 or so boe world drop with ilevel 308.

It drops from normal trash if that's what you were implying. Heroic tag but normal stats. The other version has a heroic tag too but slightly better stats.

Think he meant that there is still no dps/tank ranged from heroics.
