Siamat - Hardest boss in Heroics?

Either I am just some retard or have anyone else of you noticed that Siamat is pushing difficulty of Heroics to the extreme?

I tried to heal it as a resto shaman and I just simply couldn't handle it. I have iLvl 347 and my friends are equally/better geared. So I was just wondering wth am I supposed to do. Although I don't have Failbot to see if my friends fail alot since it's a pretty dodge-the-fire-boss.

The second phase can be hard, but I don't think he is the hardest boss to heal. Were you guys going for the achievement?

Beauty is way harder to heal, imo.
I hardly have to heal on Siamat, just Rejuv and Lifebloom the tank, occasional Rejuv on DPS. Resto druid btw, if you didnt notice

I don't find Siamat to be much of a problem. When going for the achievement however, he becomes horrendous.

No, but his AoE is too much, he deals like 2k every second, that's like understandable but in Gathered Storms it's just too much. it's really the mana issue and the Chain Heal not being as effective that really bugs me. Sure I can drop healing rain but it's still too much. But back to the mana problem, it has come to my attention that pretty much every healer in this game has some sort of mana issues (depending on fights). I think Siamat is the bane of resto shamans, or maybe just my bane.

Your group probably does not move away when the melee ads explode (giving a nice debuff that increases damage gained). The debuff also improves their damaged dealt, and 3 stacks are required for the achievement.

Siamat is definitely not the hardest boss. Maybe the DPS was standing in the green swirls, or not using there CD's Ive healed that boss as Resto while challenging it can be done. try watching what the DPS is doing which i know is pretty hard since were tunnel visioned on health but you can possibly see what is going on that is causing the issues. If the transition to the second phase is causing the problems Hit Hero/BL to help out with the AoE damage and give you a push with DPS to beat the boss a bit faster. it might not help but it can be a start to see what might help and what is going on that is causing it.

Tell your dps that they have to use their own healing and damage reduction capabilities in the aoe phase if you just cant heal that with your current gear. Other than that ... what stats did you stack bc ive got no problems with this fight at all with my shaman.

In pugs, definitely Erudax. The whole business with slowing and DPSing the correct, assigned add seems to be a monumental task for most PuG DPS brains.

But I can't really see the issue. It has to be, as you say, that the dps fail, cause I cant see any other problem. I have healed pretty much every HC boss without much problems but this one just kills me

When the melee adds die they give a debuff to surrounding people that makes them take extra damage, but cause more damage as well. IF people have multiple stacks of this it can be quite hard yeah.

you must be wary of where you kill the adds in phase 1 , because all of them leave a very-easy-to-NOT-see "wind puddle " that does aoe dmg to anyone near them.

also try to have everyone in the group save cd's for phase 2 , and spread ranged dps'ers at ph2 beginning and IGNORE adds , just hero/timewarp and burn the boss... he's becomes a pansy this way

Ah, sorry. Resto druid. So I suppose I have it a little easier on that fight .

Most of the times I fight that boss I go on my merry way just trying not to let people die, and then suddenly I look at the boss and he's dead. For me, the fight never proceeds so long as to cause me mana problems. What DPS does your group members do? Maybe that's one of the issues?

I've literally never had any trouble on that fight. Beauty seems much harder to heal and fights like last dude in Grim Batol are much more difficult DPS wise.
