Well, are you doing arena to pvp for the hell of it, or to go for some titles/prizes?
first off, playing 3's you will see each of you will have your own play style, the biggest reason why most arena teams dont work is they dont play enough game to get their synergy going, for example when to cc, when to peal. Learning the weaknesses of your partners is a fundamental part of arena, when mastered, life will get better
secondly, learning what to burn, in most situations you will have to choose 1 target to kill, i would advise to focus these targets - Warriors (stun before he can swap stance to defensive), Priests (mattering on spec, you will see certain defensive abilities uses, focus on something else until it wear off and hard switch, Shamans (mattering on spec, you will either need to survive wolves, avoid being blown off bridges from elementals or making sure when you attack a resto shaman not to send your pet at him, earth shield will proc to your pets attacks) and rogues (wait for dodge and force a cloak, focus a stun and burst him down) and also Deathknights, force an IBF early and dks pretty much 2 self heal CDS (that can be silenced or stuned to avoid) to a quick kill, their mobility is horrible so keep them rooted and AMS is their last resort to negate some damage
third, cc, you will need to stop heals, make sure to use focus macros, to silence, interupt or even when to LoS a offensive cast toward you, avoid a sheep could make or break a fight, save interupts when you really need to, most healers and smart casters will jook (interupt their own spell to force you to interupt and put it on CD) so watch carefully, understand their play style quickly can help force a hard switch, even prevent a paladin to bubble and get a kill

I'll try to be constructive to help you out .
Knowing your class is the key of success, knowing every other class and what they can do is important aswell. You should pretty much know when to use specific spells, time your interrupts and silences. Using macros for specific spells with /focus and whatnot helps aswell. Using Gladius for instance is rather useful imo aswell, it gives you a moment to discuss your first target, charge in etc.
Can't help out more then this, tired etc
Firstly your hunter will probably want to spec survival. it's exponentially better at the moment (after the patch, different story).
Your primary strategy is going to be to crowd control their healer while focusing on one of the DPS targets.
Your healer will have to hug the shit out of pillars and stairs to stay out of LoS of enemies while coming out to obviously heal you.
There is no hard and fast strategy to arena success, but remember to communicate. Call out on vent when you are CC'd, or when you're about to CC someone else, or anytime you use a big cooldown or are thinking of hardswitching to another target.
The more you play, the more you will understand what your opponents and teammates will do.
Welcome to the Arena, and good luck!!

well as far as targets go, i would always recommend going for a warrior. I play one and let me tell you, when we get focused hard we have to go defensive. Then the fight is 2 dps and a healer versus 1 dps a warrior with a shield and a healer. Though right now, warriors do ridiculous damage so they might be a problem. TSG will probably rip you apart, but with the warrior mobility nerf and Necrotic strike nerf, it shouldnt be as bad as it currently is.
Learning when to cc is also very important. I hope for the love of god you guys use skype or vert because if you dont you are certainly gimping yourself. Both are free programs so you should use one or the other, i personally prefer skype cause its less prone to lag but thats just me. At higher ratings, a missed CC can be the game, so its very important to communicate properly between your team.
And finally, practice makes perfect. Do as much pvp as you can, and try to figure out your teams strengths and weaknesses. Good luck with your arenaing!
