Right now in my view Feral druids are back to being the superb offtanks they were in TBC because they are back to stacking Agility. This means they can do very reasonable DPS while not tanking (I would estimate maybe 80% of the DPS of a proper geared kitty).

As for healing all 4 classes are perfectly capable. Yes Paladins are the strongest, but I don't think you're going to get to a point in your raid where you would succeed with two holy paladins and you just can't succeed with a resto druid. If this does happen, its the players not the class.

Hi, my group is running on:

    Tanks: War, DK
    Heals: hpal, hpriest, rsham
    Melee: Rogue, DK
    Ranged: fMage, fMage, boomkin

I was told to go resto and shammy to go ele. will it be better off that way? as a boomkin without replenishment and usually in the melee group i run out of mana easily even if i use innervate 1-2 times in a boss fight. is it normal?

Even though druids are way behind paladins, 3 different healers are pretty good choice for 10 man raids

I believe that HPally's followed closely by DiscPriests are the best tank healers.
Come patch, Disc will lead the way by a fair bit.

    we are using
    tank-druid-warr
    dps-hunter-mage-warr-rogue-spriest
    heal-rdruid-hpala-rshaman

seems to be going well only thing we miss is the 3% dmg buff

    Perfect 10-man setup?

What'd be the perfect setup taking everything, such as buffs to raid & debuffs to bosses, tank's damage output and so forth, into consideration?

Honestly there are so many things to factor in that it's almost impossible to say which 10 would be the best. Use this sites own tool and try make up a puzzle on your own:

Dk tank, paladin tank, Pala healer, holy priest, resto shammy, Hunter, Mage, Warlock, Unholy DK and muti roque/warrior - Best healers for everything, Tanks can take much damage in and Dps is optimal for single and multi target.

    That's the reason i prefer 25 mans

Crap setup imo, question is, why 3 pally healers, why no melee?

  13. #33
    You are totally clueless.

Because Paladin healers currently have the best throughput and mana resources out of all healing classes. Melee dps are a pain in the ass on some fights, and an almost guaranteed wipe on others. Most of the bosses in this round of raiding have serious short-range AoE crap, or so much movement that melee is next to useless.

I will disagree with the OP and say that one melee is good to bring though - a frost DK. We have one that kites adds in assorted fights, and it rocks.

for healers you want 1 pally, then either 2 priests or 1 priest/ 1 druid

    for tanks.. dks/druids imo

    for dps, lock/hunter/dk/rogue/shaman

Priests are just as good as paladins, and having 3 paladin healers is by far worse then having a mix of them. As for ideal 10 man setup, I would say.

    Prot Pala
    Prot Warrior/Dk tank

    Holy Paladin
    Holy Priest
    Holy priest/ resto druid

    DK Dps
    Hunter
    Warlock
    Boomkin
