Heart of Ignacious is just plain awful for Mages. DMC:V gives a passive 400 int, our highest stat in terms of priority, deals proc damage to the target, and has reforgable Mastery.

It is currently BiS, even in heroic raid gear for most casters. This is because of the huge int proc, along with the mastery which can be reforged into whatever is best for your class. Some basic math and accounts from other users say it has around a 45 second ICD, it is up a large majority of fights.
