    It doesn't even matter. IF by some miracle Nitro Boosts ruined one Paragon attempt, do you know the sheer number of attempts they go through? (at least 70 Atramedes attempts in one day)

    -Most- attempts probably don't have the malfunction, which is good enough for them.

    They're bad if you're using them like you would in Wrath. They're still a damn awesome perk for any engineer if used properly.
    Exactly this. If you use them and they backfire they still allowed you to avoid said mechanic. You just went up instead of forward.
