Okay so my friend here is TERRIBLE. But he is a friend. I was wondering what I should ask him to change if he wants to raid? Because quite frankly, doing 11k dps on Malorak 25 is a joke.
Look at other warlocks armorys is always a good way to get the basics and to see what you are doing wrong from a general stand point.
Get hit capped with gems, reforging, and proper enchants, spec demo for maloriak. After that it's game play, look at some demo parses on marloriak. Look at spell detail break down and when they use specific cooldowns during the fight. After that common sense should take hold.
also make sure your friend is keeping up ISF when he's not under hero and to use CoD
Also if hes the only warlock ahve him use infernal on one of the 2 green phases...if you have more than one have him use one and the other lock on the other
He also has stat/stam gems...when he could have haste/crit or haste/mastery...or something
Well he seems to like destruction so if he plans on staying as it ( which i advise due to upcoming patch changes) then he should be using this spec http://www.wowhead.com/talent#IZf0bZIrbcRfsRdo and switch to this spec for next patch http://ptr.wowhead.com/talent#I0hZf0bZIbbfRbsRdo. Also since he is raiding getting hit cap is prio over everything else which i can see he lacks almost 4.5% of. He also has stamina gems in pve gear which is a no no straight away. Also has dps ratios for each stat. Int > Crit > Haste > MAstery as he is destruction.
Hit gems > reforge = 17% hit priority
Get as much dps from his gems as he can after being hit capped. Changing and using the dps ratios to decide between correct gems for correct slots taking into account socket bonuses. But u would usually find 40 int best for every slot.
First off I cant see his Hit rating cap.... He's just at 12%, thats just bad.
Other big thing is those gems... He just got to remove all those fails gems and get crit/haste/hit rating along with Intellect.
I think he's failing too at his rotation, cause I see he has some points on Doom and Gloom on the Affliction tree.
