Suggestions for Laptops

As the topic says, im looking to buy a pretty sick laptop to suit my (military) mobile life (hence no desktop), but can still play all the new games coming out this year at a decent rate, with decent graphics. Im loooking to spend around 2-3k and, as an IT, im not afraid of customizing the nitty gritty; however you cant just build a laptop. the things that matter to me are processing power, followed by a decent graphics card, and plenty of ram.


I have heard that Dell laptops are substandard (which includes alien ware) so im skeptical to start there, else i would. Any insight would be appriciated, thanks

I just bought a ASUS G73 and its nice I am not sure if Alien Ware is what it used to be but I would get it.

Alien ware is bad. ASus, ibuypower, or cyberpower are best

dont get an alienware. Ive been using an m17x for the last 2 years and Ive had no end of problems right from the get-go. been a real pain to deal with somtimes.
