Would like a good leveling Disc Priest Guide...

Im a noob to healing. I have scoured the Interwebs for good priest lvling guides. I am trying to be the best healer possible but its hard to find good information. Either the guide is only for 85 toons, or the priest leveling guides are super old like WoW 3.0 or 3.2.

Are there any good leveling guides, such as what good gear to get, what places to quest... what my rotation or healing priority should be at lvls 10-20, 30-40, 30-50, etc for WoW 4.0.3?

Well, it's not easy to level as a healer via questing. It's easier than it used to be, but that doesn't mean much. Expect it to be a bit more "blarg" than it was levelling your Warlock!

I know a few people who have started up Priests since 4.0 and they seem to find an Attonement spec quite good for instances and questing. I imagine starting with something like this: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#bfro0M - will be a fair way to start. I've been levelling a Warrior for the past two weeks and I have had no issues with Disc Priests healing me in TBC or Wrath dungeons. I generally find them to be above some DPS on damage while providing me with the healing and support I need. Granted that not every tank will play like me (4th tank to level, I happily rotate CDs to maximise survival and speed) if it's their first character or tanking role, but it would just mean less smiting and more direct healing/ group protection.

At level 30, you can buy Dual Spec for 10 gold. It might be an idea to have a Shadow spec in case you find questing as Discipline a bit taxing.

On "where to quest", anywhere that is appropriate for your level.

edit: Bugger, I'll slap myself if I don't mention the obvious. Check the stickied threads!
