Doing some troll archeology in eastern plaguelands and right after i dig up a node i hear C'thun's "you are already dead" whisper. idk if this is a bug or something. has this happened to anyone else???

It's DBM. You can turn it off in the options.

ull get whispers from old gods in certain areas

in northend, in howling fjord, theres a bunch of crazy drawf miners. when u go into that area for quests ull often get old god whispers.

Theres already 3 threads about this topic, its an archelogy add on in dbm to make the tedium of the profession slightly more interesting.
