constructive criticism please!

Use the command that allows you to zoom way out (forgot what it is). Melee especially must have it since otherwise all you see is a dragon's butt, zoomed out to the max would show you the whole room. Hide Recount while in combat, it serves no purpose except to distract you. Get rid of one or both of the raid frames (do you really need to see those?). Why are you showing your spell bars? Do you click or just forget your key bindings? Use the consolidate buffs thing and hide all the useless spam text you're getting in the middle of the screen.

Mainly make sure the drakes are tanked right on top of Halfus, so you can get in cleave damage. I saw I think a ret paladin on Halfus while you still had a the Nether Scion up, was that for assisting the tank with Shadow Nova? We solved that by having our fury warrior keep Halfus focussed and using /cast [target=focus] Pummel. That way you get the drakes down faster. You're doing the right thing popping two drakes at the start and the Slate Dragon once the first drakes dead, we popped hero off the bat to help get the drakes dead, since we didn't have 40 seconds on Halfus before he got to 50%. Not sure if that's the same for all raids though.

I'm the GM of a 25m raiding guild and I find it hard to require everyone to front up 2k per week just on flasks. Maybe it's just that AT is expensive...

I recognized the guild name in the post and thought "I wonder if that's the guild on my server?". Sure enough, you are I enjoyed the video, nice to see it from the other end of the boss for once! Good quality, sharp, colorful, etc. I upload many of our kill videos if you're interested in checking them out.
