Cadia is 12/12 normal, 8/13 heroic in T11 25m content. For WotLK, we cleared all content, finishing T10 12/12 25m Heroic + Heroic Halion. Raiding Schedule:
We will sometimes cancel raid nights as we near the end of progression for a tier (in T10 we raided 2-3 nights a week), but all applicants should be prepared to commit to our regular schedule. Occasionally we will start Sunday raids an hour early if we are unable to work with a solid comp earlier in the week. We almost never raid past 11 CST, as many of our members have full time jobs - something we understand and respect.
About Us:
Cadia is a PvE raiding guild created on the server Darkspear in very early WoW. We grew to be the dominant progression guild on the server, from Molten Core through Naxx. In BC, the guild moved to our current home on Lightninghoof, where we enjoy an overall friendly community and stable server. As the game changed, members (friends) have come and gone, but Cadia is still a competitive guild.
Cadia is more than a raiding guild, we are a community of friends. We are completely the opposite of logging on an hour until raid, and everyone being gone an hour after. Our members are active in many other games aside from WoW, including TF2, SC2, LFD, Civ4, GTA, and many more. Most of our members are older, with the average age being around 23.
About You:
We have a long history of raiding and we will be competitive in Cataclysm. We're looking for people that are ready to join us as we face the new content. This means first and foremost that you know the mechanics of your class thoroughly, and we won't need to teach you how to raid. You should be level 85, and your character should reflect a significant amount of effort on your part to maximize the gear available to you. While we understand that not everyone has an opportunity to get gear, a baseline of all justice point gear available is by no means unreasonable.
As an applicant, you should have as close to 100% attendance. If you are taking a vacation/break soon, please do not apply until after it is over. If an issue does come up, we have threads on our forums for alerting of absences in advance, which we expect everyone to utilize.
You must be ready to start raiding T11 content - majority of heroic 346 quality gear is preferred. Your character's gear must be gemmed and enchanted properly, and you must have the appropriate spec at the start of each raid. We understand that applicants may receive large amounts of gear during their app period, but you should have the financial means to support both making that gear raid ready and bringing all appropriate consumables to raids for the duration of your application period (around 1 month).
Raiding experience in T11 is helpful, but not necessary. We do, however, look highly on previous raiding experience in past Tiers. Hard mode experience in ICC and Ulduar 25 (when it was current) is good, as is experience in T5 / T6 raids in BC (pre-nerf). While prior experience is not a deal breaker, it says a lot to us about what your capability is in raids.
