Blackrock Depths, Heroic Shadow Labyrinth, and Heroic Shattered Halls are my three all time favorites. The original Shadowfang Keep also holds a dear place in my heart as it was the first instance I ever ran, and seemed so unbelievably epic at the time.

I'm joining the MGT crowd on this one. Can still remember waltzing in there on the first day and getting bitchslapped by trash packs. Good times.

Slave Pens. It was the shortest way to get Orb back in TBC.
    English is not my mainspec!

I go with Scholomance (the Vanilla version). Good RP moments in there, and dou'ing the instance at lvl 60 was something to always remember.

    Scholomance. No doubt.

    Strat/Scholo

I miss non-linear dungeons. And non-linear raids. And any reason whatsoever to explore the game, as opposed to it feeling like a grind.

Because I'm a bit bored, I decided to analyze and rate them, based on which expansion. For BC, Wrath, and Cataclysm dungeons, Heroic and Normal form a "together" score, as I wish not to split them up and have more text... In addition, some Vanilla dungeons are as they were before any changes in Patch 4.0.3.

    Vanilla:
    9/10: Scarlet Monastery, Zul'Farrak, Stratholme
    8/10: Deadmines
7/10: Stockades, Sunken Temple, Blackrock Depths
6/10: Scholomance, Shadowfang Keep, Lower Blackrock Spire
5/10: Gnomeregan, Wailing Caverns, Dire Maul
4/10: Razorfen Downs, Razorfen Kraul, Blackfathom Deeps, Uldaman
    3/10: Ragefire Chasm
    2/10: Maraudon

    Burning Crusade:
    10/10: Hellfire Ramparts
    9/10: Magister's Terrace, Shadow Labyrinth
    8/10: Mechanar, Shattered Halls
7/10: Underbog, Old Hillsbrad, Sethekk Halls, Arcatraz, Botanica
6/10: Blood Furnace, Slave Pens, Mana-Tombs, Steamvault, Black Morass
    4/10: Auchenai Crypts

    Wrath of the Lich King:
    9/10: Culling of Stratholme
8/10: Drak'Tharon Keep, Gundrak, Pit of Saron
7/10: Nexus, Oculus, Halls of Lightning, Utgarde Pinnacle, Forge of Souls, Ahn'Kahet
6/10: Utgarde Keep, Azjol'Nerub, Halls of Reflection
    3/10: Trial of the Champion
2/10: Violet Hold, Halls of Stone

    Cataclysm:
    9/10: Throne of the Tides
8/10: Blackrock Caverns, Grim Batol, Halls of Origination
7/10: Vortex Pinnacle, Lost City of the Tol'Vir, Stonecore

In summation: Hellfire Ramparts is easily my favorite, the nearest followers would be Zul'Farrak and Shadow Labs.

I actually quite liked Scarlet Monastery, I have fond memories of that place.

However I guess while leveling my hunter my favourite dungeons would have been any that had lots of mobs to skin.

Old Hillsbrad, ShadowLabs from the drama trying to finish the long instance for kara fragment, Scarlet Mon, Shadowfang Keep.
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

At 60 I had a weird obbession with Scholomance so I guess that is my 5man choice.

The original Shadowfang Keep will always be my favorite. I was fervently excited about all the changes coming with Cataclysm except for the changes to SFK.
    After that:
Scarlet Monastery (Especially Cathedral and it's "oh shit double boss fight" moment)
Wailing Caverns (Was always a rare treat being an Alliance player back in Vanilla/TBC)
Blackfathom Deeps (Where all the Old God craziness began)
Dire Maul (Where I made 90% of my income during Vanilla/TBC)
Scholomance (The only time a Nerf has made a dungeon more fun)

Never did MGT until a month ago cause I quit during the whole 2.4 period, but that place is very nice. It lacks the nostalgia the others score points on.
