Class Specific Item Drops are Currently, Completely Messed Up!

I'd agree, to be honest. My guild has ran 25man BH for a month now. And straight up, 3 PvP pieces and from say.. 4/5 PvE/Pvp gear being mail and leather. Typically spirited.

We've seen no plate and 2 cloth pieces out of the whole thing. Like I said, mainly Leather/Mail with spirit, both specs.

This is pretty much it. Been doing BH since the second week of Cata and have seen 1 piece of PvE gear(Mage Pants) since then. Oh well, all those Maelstroms gave me my weapon enchant.

I just hate to see pieces drop that are completely useless, what's the point of doing it if you have an infinitesimally small chance to even get a piece.

The point of doing it is that it takes 10 min. and is obscenely easy. I consider the very low chance of a player obtaining anything useful a good way to balance the extreme lack of difficulty and time commitment required.

LOL... Speaking of, just did BH yesterday, was a class run and once we get in, The lock says, gtg sorry, and leaves. Well after a few minutes we try to replace with another lock. Well we end up with 2 pallies which they were cool about. Anways, Boss drops 2 pieces of Lock gear. WTF?!

should stay as it is, encourages raids to take people that can use gear and if you did set it with class present only drops expect to see 10 paladin , 10 druid 9 priests and 1 tank , 9 shamans and 1 tank raids and the rest of you will be sol.

Do a class run, somebody will probably need something - stop crying about bh it has always been the casino boss. If they were doing something like this they could just put all gear to point vendors....wouldn't make much more difference from that point.

Tbh I stopped counting on getting loot from VoA/BH along time ago. While I was really really lucky in VoA, it was PURE LUCK. As a raider, I can't affort to just wait and hope for my Tier legs to drop. So I bought them for VP's and now there's only the gloves (PvE) left or OS. PvP gear would be nice as well, but if it wasn't for the 70 VP's, I wouldn't even bother.

I too have seen 2 mage items drop with no mages in the group. Does seem to me, the loot is somewhat worse than in VoA. Then again, could all be luck. Or Blizz could have changed the drop rate of PvE items in BH.

Either way, don't rely on BH to get your Tier pieces tbh. Some weeks I can't even be fucked doing BH but meh......

I like to do it so that I'm the only paladin, and there are as few classes in the raid as possible. Preferably 6 but sometimes 7. That way when the classes who are absent have their gear drop, I can simply loot it to myself and leave the raid, then DE it.

Blizzard's goal is to keep you playing. Know what doesn't keep you playing? When you finish your gear set in 2 weeks.

A much better solution would be allowing some kind of switch, that makes him drop either PvE or PvP gear. I am so freakin' tired of him dropping 6 useless PvP items. At least when we get the wrong class raid gear, it's still useful to someone.

I hate when you go into BH with a PVE mindset and your one class short, and the only loot that drops is the one class that's missing's PVP tier.

I get it's a lottery, 10 classes and some classes have 3 sets that can drop, but it really ticks me off that i'm in a PVE guild, and none of us really care for PVP at all, and every time we do BH, PVP loot drops.

Sure we just DE it for crystals, but it's kinda of a waste.

There should really be some sort of UI setting like Heroic/non Heroic or something that you can change to make it so BH doesnt drop the type of loot PVE or PVP that you don't want to drop.
