I googled it, I had no freaking idea what it was.. lol
I thought they mispelled coyote, after reading the way they butchered the tool tips, its def possible
Lol
it's "Quati", not Coati..
Maybe you were looking for "COATL" , that Aztec Snake?
Actually thought it said 'coatl' and thought it was very weird. Google that.
nope. i already knew what a coati was because i actually know things.
I had no need to look it up. I knew it was a Coatimundi, which are not Brazilian. They can be found in the desert of the SW US and Mexico and are relatives of the raccoon. I like GC and almost always agree with what he has to say. The only time I've really seen him be wrong was when he said that MM would be the strongest Hunter spec in Cata and it actually turned out to initially be the weakest.

btw coatis are not aardvarks
People used to eat those. Like 80 years ago, the kids got in the woods and hunted "Quati" and "Queixada" at the most distant places in the country, here in Brazil.
And BTW, Coati attacking someone? Does not happen. Probably they can attack some food the person is carrying, but once they get, they run the faster they can.
Looks like the Hannibal Lecter version of a raccoon.

They're more like Raccoons than anything else. A common animal here in Paraguay too. They smell bad, but are nice with people
Oh, and at least in spanish, it's spelled Coati. It means "long nose" in Guarani [ko'a=long, tî=nose].
It's spelled coati in English as well.
still doesnt explain why he hates hunters so much. maybe he was touched by men in camouflage as a child, or molested by a spirit beast.
Coatis, genera Nasua and Nasuella, also known as the Brazilian aardvark, Mexican tejón, hog-nosed coon, pizotes, crackoons and snookum bears, are members of the raccoon family (Procyonidae). They are diurnal mammals native to South America, Central America, and south-western North America. The word "coatimundi" (pronounced /koʊˌɑːtɨˈmʌndi/) is a commonly used misnomer applied to solitary adult males of N. nasua. The term is reported to be derived from the Tupi language (Paraguay).

Heck, I didn't even know what that was in my own language!
And it's a "nenäkarhu" in Finnish, yet it doesn't change the fact that it's coati in English.
And yes, I did look it up.
