Ain't a top pvp'er but I do agree with this statement. On patch day, spent some time looking up some articles, respecced and crafted myself some weapons. Now after testing fury out in BGs, the burst is really insane if I have all my CDs available. However, I am really dependent on those CDs. My damage isn't low but it's not mind boggling either. Might give arms a go next just for a laugh.
i think id personally stick as arms for pvp, if i dont have dps cd's up my damage output is going to be much higher than fury, for reference i get 40k ms and slam crits at full stacked ltts, yeah ill take that over fury's 12 window over insane burst. As far as closing distance umm the guy who said walk up to them isnt joking, in both arena's and bg's you can ride a mount and close in easily with it, i do it every arena match i play. The only two classes hard to stick to are mages and hunters. If your doing arena's then maybe you should just go hammer their easier to catch buddies.
So ONE other class has charge, YOUR point ? Can't see less link between Shaman shock and charge O_o Or is every CC equivalent to charge for you ?
Warrior has : charge, hamstring (snare PLUS root), percing holw (aka "you'll never run away"), throwdown, intervene, fear, spellreflect
"ho nozzzz I can't dual charge anymore"
Strange isn't it? But yeah, you can easily draw a connection between slow effects and charge because almost every class seems to have one these days. Just to draw a list from my limited experience; shamans can shock, DKs can chain, rogues can poison, mages can frostbolt (or Slow if they are arcane), and the list goes on. I've been pvp'ing quite a lot recently, to my usual casual few matches a day and there is so many ways to slow a warrior down that it isn't even funny.
