Rogue Levelling - What should I be using?

I need to know what's best for levelling a rogue!
What weapons should I be using - do weapons even matter since 4.0.3?
What spec should I be? - Is combat still the king?
What items should I be aiming for?
What poisons should I be using?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

first use the BOA daggers if u have them, if u dont then get a dagger MH and OH

the OH dagger should be faster than the mainhand because it applies crippling poison

at low levels aim for items with stam and agi

MH poison is instant poison and use sub spec for 1shotting players and mobs

I would totally recommend leveling Subtlety. Obviously use two daggers as it increases Hemo damage and makes Ambush usable (or does AMbush onyl get a % increase for Daggers now and can be used with anything, I foget). Once you get 31 in Sub and the 2 points in Assassination that refreshes SnD and Recup it is insanely fun constantly rolling both those buffs. Ambush just destroys everything at lower levels.

Combat sux with 4.x, its only good with many many many mobs.
Subtely, thats the way to go. You 1shot everything and i'm using this spec with my heirloom swords with agi enchant and this is OP even in BG's. Daggers could be better.

heirloom swords are bad for leveling because they are very slow like 2.4 or 2.6 wep speed which makes you apply your poisons slower

And when you 1-shot mobs you don't care about poison application rate...

Maybe you're just not very good at combat. I kill most things in 4-8 seconds.

At lower levels, maybe. You rarely one-shot high level mobs. Even then, you have to stealth and move up to them if Shadowstep is down (which has an increased CD now, unless I'm mistaken).

So if Sub is the way to go, can anyone give me a link to a build that would be decent while leveling?

Poisons are a proc-per-minute basis, so slow weapons have a VERY high proc chance. Heirloom sword is a 2.8 speed weapon and would have a 100% chance to proc wound poison. Instant poison on heirloom sword has a 37.3% chance to proc.

By comparison, the heirloom 1.7 speed daggers have a 60.4% chance to proc wound and a 22.7% chance to proc instant.
