Holy Conc nerf more then 10%?

When i was in full heroic blues i had around 3300 in combat regen. After the 40% buff i had about 3800.


Today they reduced the buff to 30% which means I should till have 10% more then 20%...


Yet I have the same as i did in heroic blues. 3300, and i have full epic gear.




Anyone else noticing the nerf seems higher then 10%?

I think you aren't remembering right. if it was 3300 with +20%, that's 70% in-combat regen. The buff was to +40% (total 90% in-combat)
3300 / 0.7 = 4714 out of combat regen
4714 * 0.9 = 4243 in combat regen.

Mathematically you could not have gone from 3300 --> 3800 when they buffed from +20% to +40%. It's simply not possible.
Since nobody disputed that +20% was really +20% or that +40% was really +40%, I'm calling "your memory sucks" until proven otherwise.

Bear in mind there's about 1k non-spirit regen (which is also unaffected by combat), holy conc only applies to the spirit portion of your regen, so in the above example you're going from ~2300 to ~2800. This gives:
2300/0.7 = 3285 spi regen
3285 * 0.9 = 2957, giving close to 4k regen in combat.

So you could easily have gone from 3300->3800 with the buff.
