Halfus 25H kill logs post patch

Like title states - could some people share their kill logs of Halfus 25 HC POST 4.0.6? And kind would be nice , I essentially need a few examples of what the DPS should look like, since my guild gets enraged at 25% and it appears only 2 or 3 of our pewpew team actually pulls their weight...

    Just made the enrage.

A tip would be to release the whelp pack, time warden and nether scion in the pull, so they get cleave damage. After that you don't want to release any drakes at all. Do heavy aoe at the start so the boss get a debuff early from the whelp pack, and make sure people multi dot the boss so he's down almost at 60% when the three drake (packs) die.

and your log says you killed storm rider as well. i was gonna say there's no way your raid could get AoEd for 6 minutes.

We pulled 4/5 of the drakes at once. Killed everything and then killed the boss. We had halfus at 90%+ after the last drake died. You get a 100% buff per drake you kill, there is no reason not to kill them all. We ended up having only 1 furious roar(I think only 1). He pretty much melts after the drakes die.

man allways the same reply's i get from peopple with the iq of a appel.

3/5 at start. released whelps after time warden was dead and the last drake when storm was dead

All in all, it was quite a bit easier after the patch. I liked the fight before more than now, but it's still alright. We used 7 healers and 3 tanks and just killed him seconds away from the enrage. Killed all drakes, saved lust until they were all dead. I can't for the life of me remember the order we finally ended up using... I think we went the same route as lethal.

Same here. Released Time, Storm, Nether, killed Storm, released Whelps, killed Time, killed Neither, killed Whelps, release Slate, killed boss. 10 seconds into the enrage timer, but not bad for our first night ever on this HM, and 5th pull

Why are people killing slate? no wonder you're close to enrage :O
There was no logs uploaded from our kill last night, but we always release all but slate drake.
We release them all at once, kill whelps, kill storm, kill time, kill halfus while cleaving nether down.
We do however use 4 tanks, but we're about a minute off enrage so don't think slate is needed really.

    There you go:

Oh and we're not killing Slate. We're killing Whelps, Storm, Time, and Nether last. And then nuke the hell out of Halfus.

dps varies it depends if ur dps are selfish and pad meters to look good or actually single target the drakes!

Its about stunning the boss, I believe. Especially timing the releasing of Slate drake just when about the boss is about to enter P2, around 60%. If you do it properly, he will stun the boss during Furious Roar, which is just nice and should get you an easy kill.

Yes, I know what Slate does to Halfus, but judging by the posts in this thread so far, the ones that seems to be struggling the most are the ones releasing Slate. The fight isn't exactly a lot harder if you leave Slate alone, and you shorten the fight

3 tanks, 8 healers, killed him after 5 min 13 sec...

Would go down even faster, but one Nova at like 10% wasn't kicked and killed / kicked into lava few raid members...

    http://worldoflogs.com/reports/f25ps...?s=6383&e=6697

We released Whelps, Time, Nether and Storm at the pull, nuked Time while fire mages and demo locks nuked Whelps (we even get an achiev for killing two drakes in 10 sec ) then we killed Storm, Nether, released Slate and simply nuked the boss... It took us a few wipes to adapt to patch changes but it's really easier than prepatch..

    Reposted from another site:

We went there for the first time last night and killed it 25man on the 6th pull so im presuming it was fairly nerfed.

We did have good tactics - 3 tanks, 7 healers (2 of which Disc), 3 drakes and Whelps released from the beginning

    http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/n...?s=2070&e=2390

    Execution:
Everyone AoE's the Whelps - those with no effective AoE dps'd the Nether drake directly

Healing was a bit hairy to start with, but we used PW:B, Tranq and raid wall, combined with Bloodlust to get us through the early all drakes up time.

I was Feral MT and I was BoP'd at 8 stacks from Halfus, when i restacked to 8 the Nether was dead and me and the Nether tank swapped so i took Storm and he took Halfus - he stacked to 8, BoP'd and carried on.

Whelp tank took time drake as well. Nether tank started with Storm as well. I rotated with Storm tank on Halfus after Nether died.

When Storm died I released Slate for the extra stuns.

We killed Time and then tried to rotate HoS/Pain Sup through the roars in the burn phase.

I would reccommend releasing Slate now even if you dont kill as the stuns are very useful for the final. phase, and we had no issues with enrage timer. Also a useful tip is to stand at the door and have Halfus MD's to you to start with - this means he loses his attack speed by the time he gets to you to stop him super stacking Mortal strike on you early requiring an early BoP.

We are relatively well geared, however this was our first night of attempts as we got stuck for far too long on Nefarian 25man. Hopefully somebody will find something useful in our logs.
