I was really excited to read this post, and you may call me old-fashioned, but it is too badly written. And I mean that without hate at all. The OP really sounds like a smart guy who I'm sure I'd love to have a chat with. But there are way too many "spoken language" artifacts in there, and a lot of elementary punctuation is missing.

Things like "and I was like wow like you know like totally awesome like" are not meant to be written, it is just too hard to follow.
Hope OP doesn't get mad, it's just honest feedback.
