How many of you WoW players tried Rift?

I did, and for now I find it quite engaging. Whether it is playable long term depends on how much there is to do in the world. Rift does reek polish through every pore. I hope it is as wide and long as it is shiny.

I tried it during last weekend's beta event.

I have to say, I was quite impressed. It wasn't groundbreakingly amazing or new, but it felt like a breath of fresh air between the soul system, and a more dynamic world where you as a player can have an actual impact on by driving off rifts and invasions.

Game looks terrible from what I"ve seen and read, so I will not even be bothered trying even the Beta or any free offer they might give when the game goes live.

I`ve played rift. I love it, beta will be open, don`t talk down on anything you haven`t played

I don't think there will be an open beta since the game launches in the first week in march. I've been in the invitation only beta tests for the last weeks and the game looks very polished and ready and I haven't seen any bugs yet.
