Whiptail frequency has been drastically increased. So much that it wouldn't surprise me if they nerfed it again soon.

Had a guildie stay up all night last night and make 10k gold selling the whiptail he gathered. I've heard people state that this is "working as intended" but I can't imagine this is intended.

Perhaps he is referring to the fact that Whiptail has an almost instant respawn now. I farmed it yesterday so i could make the new alchemy trinket, and it only took me 20 mins to farm all 50 of the volatile lifes needed.

Our guild has made over 700 flasks in the past 3 days thanks to this. The herbs that haven't seen dramatic spawn rates (Stormvine, Heartblossom, etc.) we have been buying with the thousand or so Whiptail we sell every day.

i love the way blizzard work, they are so drastic, farming 1hour for 2 stacks of whiptail to ALL YOU CAN EAT. it gets a bit tiring to keep up with all these changes.
