Random lag spikes

Since the hotfix pre 4.0.6, I've been having random lag spikes that I never experienced before. It seems that anytime a character or boss USES AN ABILITY THAT I HAVE NOT SEEN IN THIS LOGIN, I get a huge lag spike. e.g., as soon as I start a raid, the lag is terrible, but improves. As soon as we get to different trash, the freezes will start up until they have used all their abilities, then stop. Same with bosses. Again, I had no problems before the hotfix, and from what I read on the tech support forums, some other people are having similar issues. Anyone else having this problem, or know how to fix it?

Anyway to fix it? My internet had no problems before the hotfix.
