I need help buying a PC

So I've been wanting to replace my laptop for a while but I'm not too good with computers. I know where to check game benchmarks on Graphics Cards and I know about RAM but other than that I'm completely lost. I want to know how it will do with games like Rift, Borderlands and Oblivion, so here's some information about it.

It will work, but I wouldn't take it. Whole Core2Quad line is few years old and can be considered to be obsoleted now twice already by Intel (with i5 and Sandy Bridge). Upgrading it or replacing broken components is already getting very hard and expensive, and year from now probably nearly impossible.
