Gnomish or Goblin Engineering for a Hunter?

Just went Engineering with my Hunter. Power leveling it through AH. Which specialization is better for hunters?

Gnome has a lot more fun stuff, but Goblin increases your DPS and PVP burst more, at the cost of prohibitively expensive bombs.
Steve Irwin died the same way he lived. With animals in his heart.

I went gnome, because it's fun, and damage items get old.

Also their teleporter is way better if you're Alliance.

There's not much difference, you will only have different teleportation sites.
With the uldum portal the goblin one is maybe less attractive (gadgetzan) but the gnomish one is also quite useles (winterspring, so near hijal).
So pick the one you like most, the difference is only in a couple of fun items and some bombs.

How? They got tanaris wich is easly rechable with other way of travel and BEM were nothing important is.
And goblins have Winterspring(wich is great for alliance if you want to farm rep with sabers) and they got Area 52 where TK is and when you gear your hunter you could try to solo KT for Al'ar.

    But thats going offtopic.

2nd poster allready told it does not metter. Yes goblins have the bomb(since 4.0.6 patch only) but its not so easy as a hunter to use it tbh

You got those mixed up. Goblins go to Everlook, Gnomes go to Gadgetzan.

The differences that can matter at max level are very few.

    Goblin:
    Area 52 Teleporter
    Everlook Teleporter
    Personal World Destroyer

    Gnome:
    Toshley's Station Teleporter
    Gadgetzan Teleporter
    De-weaponized Mechanical Companion

Everything else is either outdated (level 60 and 70 gear, level 80 bombs, etc) or had its requirements removed (Bombling, Smokey).

    Nope, gnomish is Gadgetzan.

Assuming that Alliance players have easy access to near-Winterspring area via Darnassus boat, they can go to the upper areas of Kalimdor quite easily.

But yes, the Uldum portal rendered the gnomish one pretty useless too. That is, if you're in Stormwind.

PS: Thanks. It's the Malkavian clan symbol.
