Unheeded Warning

simple question, since the change to unheeded warning, is it good for enhancement shaman to use now?

yes 10+ topics about it, but mostly rogues, and the one for shaman didnt really give much info on how it reacts with the weapon damages and alot of people talking about it with its old buff

so i made this topic in the shaman forums XP

From what I understand, a rather minimal amount of Shaman damage comes from actual weapon stikes (except Lava Lash. Damn, that's hawt!)... not enough, I think, to validate such an item.

well storm strike and its unleashed weapon deal weapon damage and unheeded increases that, not many people gave real info on it and the only thing that was given i saw was info from a rogue trial

Untrue. As of the 4.0.6 changes, it DOES affect yellow weapon strikes, such as Sinister Strike and Shred, making it VERY valuable for Rogues (sub particularly) and Feral Druids. I just don't know if enough Shaman DPS is actual weapon strikes to accommodate the proc.

i want to know if it does effect the shaman abilitys that proc weapon damage, but i dont have it yet, currently in BoT trash run with my guild

Theoretically, if it affects those and those are a significant portion of your damage, then it may be worth checking out! As I've found, it does not affect Mutilate correctly, possibly an issue relating to an offhand attack. This issue may exist for Stormstrike, as well.

yes i will have to check it out, my shaman is the only one atm that could use the trinket and doesnt have it already and what not so if it drops ill get to see

can you show an after and before? an unheeded warning dropped and i had gotten it, i dont wana equip it right now unless i know its a good upgrade

Sell it and put the money towards DM:H. Probably the best use for it.

I dont have it yet...but I can look through some log of some that do.

Do you have EnhSim? Should be able to tell you what kinda boost you'd get from it though.

hmm...DM:H is ok if you can't get anything else..but I'm sure that Tia's Grace (Heroic) and Unsolvable Riddle are far better. But I guess DM:H would be better that UW.
