Game Latency Issues with Canadian ISP's

i want to know if any of the people who are currently experiencing the latency issues in WoW were experiencing the same problems in any other online pc games?

basically a lot of people who rely on bell for their internet havent been able to play during peak traffic times due to their world ping being anywhere from +300-400ms to over 1000ms.

so is there anyone who has tried playing something like the Rift beta for example and is having the same problems? the only reason i ask is i dont play any other online games other than WoW and i was considering buying another but if i have the same latency issues during peak hours im not going to waste the money.
