    [Movies] Your Guilty Pleasure Movies

My definition: bad, tacky, or dated movies. Hammy acting, bad scripts, what have you. Even YOU know it's a bad movie, but you love it anyway. OR, a movie that you think admitting to liking would ruin your reputation (like a chick flick for guys, etc). Basic rule: if you'd be embarrassed to admit you love the movie, it's a guilty pleasure.

My list off the top of my head:

    Road House
Freddy Got Fingered (horrible movie, but it makes me laugh out loud every time)
    Orgazmo
Titanic (I really should hate this movie with a passion, but try as I might to hate it, I'm a sucker)
    The Village
    The Quick and the Dead
    Baseketball
Legends of the Fall (I almost listed this as one of my favorite movies, then was embarrassed to say it, so I guess it fits)
Freeway (only because I worry that digging this movie reveals that I'm twisted)
    Coyote Ugly

Pretty much any romance movie, I just don't want to admit it to anyone haha. I just can't get enough of them, especially ones like Before Sunrise/Sunset, those are beautiful :')

Atlantis and even it's Sequel Atlantis 2: Milo's Return.

they're terrible straight to DVD disney movies but they're AAAWWEESSOOMME so many frakkin brilliant lines

Milo: Will you look at the size of this? It's gotta be half a mile high, at least. It-It must have taken hundred- No, thousands of years to carve this thing.
[Vinny blows it up, and it falls down over a chasm]
Vinny: Hey, look, I made a bridge. It only took me like, what? Ten seconds? Eleven, tops.

Cookie: I got your four basic food groups! Beans, bacon, whisky and lard.

Milo: Excuse me, you dropped your dy-dy-dy-dynamite!
    [nervous laugh]
Milo: What else have you, uh, got in there?
Vinny: Oh, er... gunpowder, nitroglycerin, notepads, fuses, wicks, glue, and... paper clips, big ones. You know, just, uh, office supplies.

how can you hate a movie with lines like that

plus the lead girl was HOT... ya know, for a cartoon :P

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is awesome. I know alot of people who love it, wouldn't consider it a guilty pleasure movie. And the first TMNT was great. Second and third, definitely guilty pleasures.

For me: Howard the Duck. The Human Centipede (Horrible movie, horrible acting, but so damn hilarious! "You never go ass to mouth!" lolol)

Napoleon Dynamite, in all honesty that is the stupidest movie I've seen, but I can watch again and again.
Dee Snider's Strangeland also .. is a cheap horror kidnapped girl who's all because of an online chat - bad acting and everything. I think of it more as a comedy, but the parts where people are being tortured.

I should have included that in my "favorite movies" list. Love that movie. I don't consider it a guilty pleasure at all. Your mileage may vary.

Robot Jox (horrible acting, horrible story, but Battletech in a movie (although horrible special effects)!!! Love it!)
Tremors (decent acting, but horrible premise and story, but so funny you have to love it!)
D.O.A (Hot girls and a lot of fighting action... nothing else except Eric Roberts to hold it together, but we all love Eric Roberts!)
Tekken (actually really good fight scenes, which is why I love this one since there is nothing else of quality in the movie)

Some of the lists above look more like favorites lists than guilty pleasure lists. Big Trouble in Little China is a masterpiece of acting, storytelling and atmosphere that hasn't been matched yet (which is also why it is my all-time favorite movie). There is nothing bad about it and if you think there is, Jack Burton will have a serious issue with that.
